This Foot Stool is my first upholstery project! The material I’ve used as the cover is a hand printed, seven colour screen print that I did while on residency in Amsterdam.

When creating the pattern I tried to focus on the “whole”, letting go of the individual motif in order to make something that works as an overall design. I love the movement and vibrancy and just how free the design is!

I want to create pattern, prints and fabrics for use on upholstery and interiors, this is the first in that realisation.
